Every run at Agara lake is making my life better ❤️

Living in the BLR tech lifestyle, it’s easy to lose your mind. The constant hustle porn on X - it gets toxic. I needed an escape and Agara lake has become that for me.

I started doing 1 circle everyday and now 2 circles - roughly 5km - three times a week. Initially, I was listening to rock music to drown out my thoughts. Then I switched to podcasts because, you know, the need for productivity never dies. I thought if I’m not learning about AI or startups while running, I’m wasting time.

But recently? I ditched the AirPods. Zero noise. Just me and the track.

That’s when the magic happened. You actually see things. The different shades of water, those stunning pink trees that are in full blossom rn, the birds you never knew existed in HSR. You notice the characters - the uncle running like he's mad at someone, the random techbro who's getting his health back, the fit af people who must be athletes, and the other techies trying to undo the damage of sitting for 12 hours.

The impact on my mental health has been insane. I’m calmer during chaotic meetings and days. My manager’s behaviour doesn't trigger me as much. And honestly, i have not slept this well since college - it's fucking crazy. No doom-scrolling till 2 AM, just genuine exhaustion and rest.

We chase LPA ESOPs etc.... but honestly, that 7 AM clarity is the biggest luxury I’ve found in Bangalore. If you’re feeling burnt out, just show up at the lake. Trust me, the hustle can wait, your sanity can't.

And I can say from experience - it is super tough to start with it. Just show up. Run a kilometer. then two. Do a walk on the days running hurts. Take it easy. Just start small, focus on being consistent. I want more of you to do it because it just feels really nice.

Yes brother, you got it. I don't run (due to knee issue) but I know how much it helps with almost everything.
