Every effort I put in puts me in a worse situation than the one I started from.
This has been happening for the last few years. Is anyone else experiencing something similar? It's occurring in almost all fields of life.

Man, I hear you. It would be the easiest for me to raise my hand and say me too, and so I am going to unapologetically, say that - Me too! To be in such situations - suck. It can also be scary. I hope you remember though: You might think you’re weak, but you are someone else’s source of strength, whether you know it or not. I don’t have enough context, but these are my two cents.
Stop beating yourself up. Life isn't out to get you, you're just in the middle of the process. The fact that you're even putting in effort already puts you ahead. But here’s the thing: if every move is making things worse, then maybe it’s time to audit your approach.
Skills, resilience, lessons are stuff that might not feel like a win right now but will serve you down the road. It’s frustrating when the results don’t match the effort but maybe it’s time to tweak the approach rather than question the effort itself.
Ask yourself:
- Am I focusing on what I can control or getting stuck in what I can’t?
- Is there a pattern in what’s not working? Something I can adjust?
- Is there anything I can get help for - professionally? Or from a well-wisher?
- Am I playing the long game or am I expecting quick wins?
- What’s one thing I can do differently next time?
Shift your mindset—start seeing failures as tuition. Adjust, tweak, and go again. You’re not alone in this. Every tanked effort is just feedback in disguise. The faster you extract the feedback, the faster you grow. And it never ends. It's ongoing. At least for me, it is - an ongoing battle of sorts and I'm okay with that. Because I've realized that I don't have to go at it alone.
A lot of people feel stuck, but the ones who eventually break through are the ones who keep going and keep adjusting. If you’re tired, pause. Recharge. Recharge better and that can look differently for each of us. But don’t quit. The next move even if it's the smallest - might be the one that changes everything.
Thank you for the detailed response. Asking yourself questions seems quite insightful and new, will try for sure.

Bro he just used gpt, nobody has the patience to type long ass answers on anonymous forums, if it's more than 2 paragraphs as a response then assume it's gpt

If you are getting attached to the results of the efforts then there will be disappointment. Keep climbing and enjoying the journey. It doesn’t matter how far you have reached. It is what you have seen, learnt and felt. Take care bud. You’ll be okay.

Total relate, hoping things will improve
For you too.
