Even Govt employees get better salary hike than TCS job
Though it sounds crazy I joined TCS after my exec. MBA campus placement with high hopes and a very low package. Last year I did not get any salary Hike due to the crazy TCS policy that there will be no salary Hike for 1st yr. This yr also most probably there will be no hike. With rising inflation and constant education loan emi pressure, don't feel that it's worthwhile to continue in TCS and want to switch. However there is 1 issue as TCS put me on a support project and my business consulting experience is effectively 0. Though I have upskilled and done certifications, hardly any company gives weightage to certification in job interview without hand-on experience. Can't understand how I can switch.

And that's the reason getting a job in tcs in easy compared to govt employees. Everything comes with a cost. If Someone is getting less hike thats the reason their job is almost secure. Dont understand why peoplez cry over no hike. Yeah i understand how frustrating it can be but just imagine even if you do least performance you will not get fired here. So everything comes with a cost🤷

TCS has sucessfully managed yo employ labourers at same rates for 2/3 yrs now ... 1st yr was policy, 2nd Yr was your mentality that working hard u will get good hike.... now in 3rd yr mgr offering you onsite opportunity... these are all Ninja techniques in TCS... to rip you off some money ... and the cycle repeats year after year with 1000s of employees.... now decide for yourself.

Tcs won't give any hike after 1st year? No appraisal and no annual hike ?
It should motivate you to upskill yourself and leave the company, you can switch and get better salary hike
