ESOPs at early stage startup

I'm working as a GenAI Engineer (Total 1 YOE) at an early stage startup and overseeing end-to-end product development. I am the only full time engineer here.

My base is 9 LPA with no bonuses or esops yet. I have been promised esops at the end of my 3 month probation which will end soon.

  1. How do I approach this negotiation?
  2. How much ESOPS is it fair to ask for?
  3. Any resources that can help me figure this conversation/decision out
