EPFO is corrupt organisation
I really hate India. India is a highly corrupt country. The people here are extremely corrupt. The government babus, the private entities, the government organizations, the government itself, the people, the society—everyone is corrupt. Everyone here is trying to loot you or scam you.
I will tell you one instance. There are many instances like this, but this is just one of them.
Recently, I joined a new organization. I wanted to transfer my provident fund money from my previous organization’s private trust to my EPFO account. I sent one mail to my previous company’s retiral team, and they initiated the request to EPFO. They initiated the request to transfer my PF fund from their private trust to my EPFO account. But somehow EPFO rejected that request. The reason they gave was that there is no EPS contribution from the organization.
I mailed back to my previous company, and they replied that they did not make any EPS contribution because my salary was more than ₹15,000. So that was the reason they gave.
Now, when I am trying to raise a grievance in my EPFO account, they are not allowing me to do it. When I enter my UAN number, they say there are no records with that UAN. What a blatant lie. That UAN number is absolutely correct—I used to log in to my EPFO account using that exact UAN. And I don’t know what the issue is with their website. It never works. I think they purposely made the website and the grievance portal in such a way that people fail while trying to log in or raise grievances. They don’t want more grievance requests. They want people to come to their office so that they can take bribes. This is how corrupt the system is.
And that PF money is my money. It’s my money. More than ₹3 lakh is stuck right now. Since my previous organization, Infosys, raised the transfer request, they have now closed my PF account in their private trust. And I don’t know where my more than ₹3 lakh is currently. It’s stuck somewhere. I don’t know whether it is with EPFO or with the Infosys trust. It’s just stuck.
When I checked the Infosys portal today, I couldn’t see my ₹3 lakh. They have closed my account, and they have raised the request, but that request was cancelled by the EPFO field officer.
I don’t know how to move ahead with this. I am genuinely worried. More than ₹3 lakh is stuck somewhere, and I don’t know how to get it resolved. And on top of that, I am not even able to raise a grievance to EPFO because they keep saying that no UAN exists with the number I enter.
