When did you join the startup?
Few companies do not have EPFO provisions, check if that's the case. Pf is deposited monthly.Else, it a violation of labour law.

Your company's late in depositing EPF? That's not cricket! They should deposit within 15 days of next month. Raise the issue, boss! "Der aaye, durust aaye" doesn't apply here.

Yes this should be on time normally, I don't know the legalities around this. But you should definitely check with your HR.
