Engineering for the first time.

This is my 3rd company, and for the first time till now, I feel like all that dsa, geometry and even physics is coming in handy. I have around 4.5 yrs of experience now and for the past 5 months ever since the switch, I feel like I am really engineering something into existence and being a part of something big. The first 4 yrs, I won't lie, I did a very average job in development, maybe because I was in service based company so did not get to work on stuff. Everyone was scared to even touch the legacy code. But here I am, working on product, that too, 2 of them now, and 1 is not even in tech stack, but I still feel good trying to learn and work on it. NGL, team is supportive, managers are gem! Good wlb! Enough time is given for tasks. No micro management, and a job where you would need to upskill yourself. I do regret a bit regarding this, but thats the greed part of me. Since I did not had a good start of the career, I am far below in the pay part.

P.S. someone just left the team I joined and his words to me were, stay lazy and automate everything! He had around 11 yoe and just built a house, furnished it, costed him somewhere around 1.5cr. He already built what I dream to do. All this does keep me motivated to work, maybe this was my silver lining :)🧿
