Engineering colleges for Computer Science

Hi Folks, I am seeking advice as a father of a class 12 student, can you all recommend few engineering colleges besides the IIT, Bits, DTU, VIT which have good placement, infrastructure and faculty. Could engineers who have graduated in 2017/2018 or HR folks comment with their experience in the job market

Thanks

Ask your kid to give COMED-K and KCET(if they pass the criteria). Try to get a rank below 2-3K. Any college in Bangalore with CS for above rank qualification should be good. Also, stay in touch with other parents. That's what my parents did and it kinda paid off

JU, IIEST, guindy, the original IIITs. BTW is VIT is not a engineering college IMO. Should be a IT diploma. Have friends from there who seriously regret due to being looked upon by Tier 1 folks

I went to KIIT, Bhubaneswar a place you might not be expecting in this list. I have alumni in Google/MSFT/etc.

I’ll just say, Your first CTC depends on your college brand and the rest depend on your skills, connections & wisdom. You
