The people who claim IT will die are all associated with AI development. So to have money flowing into their business.m they project a use case.
As a real Este agent or builder he will always say there is not enough houses for everyone all the while holding inventory for 2 years.

I am a frontend engineer and I have nothing to gain from being an AI pro, but from what I've seen what LLMs are capable of, SDE days are numbered.
Just one question here: if most if not all of IT jobs will be affected by AI, then why is Google Investing Billions in India and building large campuses in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
I mean if jobs are at risk, real estate will just be a word, value of Land? Nope.
Of course it's not going to affect all IT jobs, but there's definitely going to be an impact, and maybe the roles will evolve. Google is one of the leading companies that seems to be succeeding in the AI race, so they may need folks as they expand...
I bet my life that Zoho stocks are gonna grow now. Sridhar might look like an innocent guy, but deep down he owns and runs a business, and he's trying his best to capture the Indian tech market with the insane amount of products zoho offers to build a business.
From what I can see, he basically wants to capture the max market before the big giants capture any and make zoho useless.
Zoho guy is well known to give such dumb but sensational comments. He loves limelight and will do anything for that. So one should not give much credence to what he says. Ask him if it is AI which killed his hyped up chatting app!
Those who will put additional effort to learn, will survive, and some of them may even ride on the wave and get much higher packages. But If you don’t want to, or unable to learn new things, you may be facing higher risk of layoff.
Ask vembu to resign and find something else. 100% chances are.. he will not.
Its all IT getting commoditized thts all.. Low cost readily available...
