Employer terminated me without severance. Not paying salary for the last month I worked there either.

I was coerced into putting in my resignation without any severance or notice period. It didn't bode well with the founder when I refused, and he terminated my employment with immediate effect.

I haven't received a salary for the last month I worked there. The founder and the team are not responding to any of my calls, emails, and text messages.

Any advice on how to navigate this? Contemplating the legal route now.

You should talk to your lawyer even if you choose not to pursue a case. They'll be the best bet on providing a legal advice. A lot depends on your offer letter, and any contracts you've signed with the firm.

Except for big companies, most people do this. Many Startups treat employees like slaves. You walk out of that door, you are dead to them.

Legal route is probably the worst idea. The only option is to talk friendly to them and try to recover as much as possible.

Name and shame on LinkedIn, go ruthless. If you have any proprietary code, sell it.

Damn, all the best bro. I wouldn’t count much on legal angle if u don’t have concrete proofs.
