Employer contribution of pf

Some companies pay 12% of basic as employer contributions and some does ₹1800. How does it make a difference in overall package ? Which is beneficial?

1800 is beneficial if you can grow your money at 9% every year. But because of this your take home in increased .and so is your desire to spend it on useless things
