Hi,

Currently as the Success Factor application is down, I am unable to initiate the separation process in the portal. What is the process in such situations? How to make sure that the resignation date is updated accordingly, when the application is available.

Send a resignation email to your manager with HR marked in CC and put in the effective date as today. Once the application is back up you can resign on the application and take the effective date the day you sent the email.
