Hi All, how is the career progression for embedded software developers in India?
- Do they earn as much as SDEs in senior positions say SDE3 or staffs?
- Are there enough opportunities in this domain?
- Given that embedded engineers do not interact with Database at all, how difficult is it to switch to generic SDE role from Embedded engineer role later in the career?
- With the recent advancement of AI, is embedded engineering a better domain than generic SDE roles from job safety perspective or the other way round?
- From purely money perspective, which domain has the better ROI?
