First 3 options are pretty much same thing. Unless first is like freelancer route. If u hv passion or talent in smthng else then choose that.

If you are just about to start a career in cs, dont. Its already very cluttered and might as well be at the point of saturation. It would be hard for you to make an impact and room for yourself. Choose a different career

Please provide better context with such posts. What is your educational study status currently? Are you done with your Engineering? Or are you just about to start? Or where are you in the overall study cycle? Going by the post it looks like you are just in 12th std, is it?

Got it. I passed my 12th two years ago. I dropped out for a year, attempted a B.Sc. in AI & ML, but left due to some finance issues. Now, I’m giving it another shot.

If you really want to get into this field, you should do a formal degree (unless you claim to be top of the cream talented, or have already proven your tech expertise in some way). Please remember that lakhs of Engineering students remain unemployed every year, last year’s campus hiring must be one of the lowest. Even a few IIT students are remaining without jobs. So getting an entry into Software field, is usually difficult for an average student. Only a brilliantly talented student can make it into Software field without a formal tech degree (BE/BTech/MCA/MTech, or may be at least BSc IT).

Getting a Job just based on/and after 12th could be difficult anyway, and getting a Job into Software field, which is a specialized field, could be even more difficult (unless you have prior Software study interest (like ICSE board they teach too much of software even before 10th).

It appears you are just being dazzled by this glitzy world of Software, and you are thinking that since this is one of the most famous, most talked about career area, so why not try to make entry into it! Don’t. I would suggest try to get in touch with a good professional Career Counsellor, discuss all your options and then decide. (Career360 guys are one good guys I consider).
