So what is the solution as per you guys when the strait is blocked and oil is re-routed from other parts of the world.Similar increase in oil pices were noticed during the earlier Gulf Wars. Every country is affected by the increase in price of per barrel brent/crude oil. India is a massive consumer of LPG and moreover the diet of an average indian includes a lot of frying and oil involvement which ultimately leads to an increased LPG consumption. So I am asking the grapeviners here again - What is the solution for this??
A lot of people who never owned any 2 wheeler or a 4 wheeler will start crying while the petrol and diesel prices are increased(more than vehicle owners).
When crude oil was trading around $40 and India was getting huge discounts on Russian crude, did citizens get any relief?
govt and oil companies made record profits and collected thousands of crores in taxes and duties. Were those savings passed on to us in the form of lower petrol, diesel or LPG prices?
Has any fuel price actually come down meaningfully in recent years whenever global crude prices fell?
Or do prices rise immediately with global cues but conveniently stay high when crude is cheap?
Now the rupee is also collapsing likely to touch ₹100 to a dollar soon yet there’s always money for Ladli-Ladla schemes, freebies and election sops but when it comes to controlling LPG or fuel prices for the common man, there’s suddenly no money.
80 crore people are already dependent on Govt ration. How will the masses survive this continuous burden?
