Creating this to gauge what the Grapevine janta thinks about the upcoming Elections! What are you guys feeling? Are you planning to vote? Who do you think will take the top seat of largest festival of democracy? Let it all out! Want to hear everyone’s thoughts/rants/opinions- spicy and otherwise.
I’ll go with mine- My hot take is that this is Modi’s last election most likely. If he dies then there is no other gargantuan leader on either sides to take over the helm and this could mean the country just spirals into political chaos, which is could have serious implications on economy. Market will come crashing sometime in 2029🫢🤣
Being dependent on one person is too big of a risk for a nation like India to take.

- When BJP came into power in 2014, they came up with 15 yrs plan. That time they had no mass leader except Modi. As time passed, new leaders emerged in the BJP. Such as Yogi ji from UP, Annamalai from TN, and Himanta from Assam.
- Also, BJP is not going anywhere before 2034. And Modi might be the President after 2029, cuz a president has a lot of power in India but it is unused xD.
- As far as democracy is concerned, I need an opposition but not this congress. If this congress then throw that Mother & Son duo out of the party. But still, their underlying ideology won't change.
- This year BJP might get 250+ seats. Also, we need a stable govt. for another decade and for that this govt is suitable.
- There is no scarcity of leaders in the BJP.

NDA will be back , not BJP alone . BJP will win less than 240 and will need its allies support. So expect some stability in governance next term rather than haphazard and autocratic decisions. Congress / opposition alliance will win close to 200 overall .
Easy win for single party will create problem, they will take it as granted as they think people blindly believe them no matter what they do, we can see THAT thing in manifesto as well, all the rubbish things. Still that's the manifesto for biggest election of india

BJP has cultivated the next generation of leaders such as Yogi Adityanath, Devendra Fadnavis, Himanta Biswa Sarma, and the new icon Annamalai. In addition to that, they already have time tested leaders like Amit Shah, Smriti Irani, Nitin Gadkari, Anurag Thakur to lead on to the politics after Modi retires ( if he??) . BJP is set to rule for most of the next 25 yrs until 2047 including alliances with some regional parties for sometime.
I.N.D.I alliance is only hyped up on the social media but the actual reality is far from that. BJP has another clean sweep this time. On road reality is clearly asking for another Modi's tenure. Yes, the future after Modi is bleak for BJP but they do have Amit Shah who clearly knows politics more than anyone in Bharat. So, he will cook something up. And on top of that, this alliance is very weak. They literally have nothing in common except defeating BJP which is not much of a link to keep them together.
Congress don’t have any ideology as such, they will always rely on other parties to form coalition and gain majority. They don’t even know what to offer as part of their manifesto.
Also, they don’t have ppl working at ground level similar to RSS. Looks like NDA will be their till 2034 atleast. Would be great to see who will replace Modiji. Assuming transition planning in this 5 year tenure, by 2028 we will have some clarity.
Congress has so many people working at ground level actually, but most of them are slowly shifting to BJP to secure their kids' future.
If Modi dies (before the Elections or even after getting elected), I.N.D.I.A have to shut their shop permanently, as his death will be utilised to the core by BJP and NDA for the next 50 years, like how the ORIGINAL Gandhi's death was utilised.
Remember, Gandhi was the first Politician of INDIA(Country, not the Alliance) and Modi has utilised his name too, so he is a BETTER Politician than Gandhi.
