Would suggest to avoid as you will face issues in later end if you find anything that isn't right or missing just check with your HR who will look into it..

Will you edit your bank statements and pf statements as well. Very risky to edit salary slips and if inconsistencies found you will be blacklisted by that company.

Don't do it. It will create trouble for you only later.
