My manager is an edgeverve employee, if I try to claim the internet charges would I get any conflict because he(manager) is an edgeverve employee? Can I claim the bills in the usual way or is there any other process to do so?

Maybe try putting your TPD as approver. i got approved via TPD

Just put someone's name who is from your unit. And ask them to approve
