100% true. Subscribed to The Ken since the concept looked lovely + founder shared the same alma meter, but the almost-forced skepticism on every single subject was exhausting as a reader. Found much more sound rationale at the TMC.

I have always been curious about the correlation between consumer base and content. General news agencies make the most money from clicks/attention which they sell to advert agencies. They can't expect a normal user base to pay high prices. Business journalism usually has a more informed user base which values objective and thoughtful coverage, so they can deliver quality content for a high price.
How does one bridge this gap/business model isse?
