Journalists rely on plausible deniability. They don’t have concrete proof that meta did this so staying on the safe side. Sometimes they put a question mark at the end of an allegation for the same reason. e.g : “XYZ is a criminal” might get you a defamation suite. “XYZ is a criminal?” Will not.

The pace at which they are laying off and that too senior and impactful employees, soon they will be compared with startups
