Can we swipe early at 6 am and spend 3.5 hours and then swipe out.Has anyone done it in emergency case?

Yes you can do that. I have swiped in at 5 am and swiped out at 9 am. And the attendance is marked as present.

Yes you can do that , even if you swipe at 1 am and swipe out at 5 am in morning.. you will be marked present

just ask facilities team at your DC if you can swipe in at 6am if they say yes then do it
