Trending @Accenture; Early Release During Notice Period at Accenture

Hi All, I put in my resignation on June 25th, and my LWD is oct 25. I informed my new project manager via email that I’m serving my notice period. He acknowledged it initially.

Currently, I’m still in KT phase, actual work hasn’t started, and access is not yet provided. Since I’m actively interviewing and targeting Big4 or product-based roles, I requested early release so I could move to bench and possibly exit sooner.

However, the manager said he’s looking for a replacement and even tried retention (which I’m not considering, as I’ve realized this company is very manager-dependent). Now, they’ve started adding me to DSM calls even though I have no real work yet.

Has anyone here:

Successfully got early release during notice period at Accenture? Any tips or process hacks to move to bench quickly?

Should I escalate to HR if no real work is assigned?

Would appreciate any insights from people who’ve been through this

I also put paper on July 18 , since I had an offer from product based. But since it needed joining by September mid I asked for early release, they straight rejected it.
