
Early LWD in exchange of EL
Hi TCSers,
I have a few questions, really appreciate your input.
- Can I get an early release in exchange for my 48 ELs?
- Is it compulsory to produce the OL from XYZ company (without hiding the offered CTC and company name) if HR asks for CTC revision? Do they verify if I have been offered that amount from XYZ company?
- What is the procedure to call back my resignation, in case XYZ cancels the OL since they are looking for early joiners?

ITS COMPLETELY DEPENDS ON HR AND PROGRAM MANAGER , I TOO HAVE 48 EL BUT EARLY RELEASE WAS DENIED BY HR IN EXCHANGE OF ELs.

IN INITIAL DISCUSSION NOT REQUIRED BUT IF YOU PLAN TO REVOKE THE RESIGNATION THEN FIRST ASK TCS TO PROVIDE THE REVISED OFFER LETTER OR ON-SITE ON PAPER, THEN GO FOR REVOKING.
- What is the procedure to call back my resignation, in case XYZ cancels the OL since they are looking for early joiners? THE PROCEDURE IS SAME AS YOU INITIATED THE RESIGNATION VIA EMAIL TO HR AND YOUR SUPERVISOR, SIMILARLY YOU CAN RAISE THE REVOKE OF RESIGNATION.

For 2, it is not mandatory to share. I told my manager that other company is offering me X, but if you want to retain me, give me X + Y ( I actually got it)

Getting early release will not work by policy. It will automatically be enabled when you are not working productively at the same time not get into escalation mode with anyone finding fault. It should be evoking a sense of loss of budget or over utilisation of the cost allocation to your position or project. For eg if you are supposed to deliver X story points or resolve Y incidents based on your project plan or deliverables you need to reduce your output gradually and by end of month-1 the managers should get a sense of releasing you. In certain cases they would have found a replacement. It will be easier for them to decide in such cases. But if you are not having a replacement or being retained in T&M formthr sake of filling timesheet revenue, then itnwill be tougher. Maybe you can spend the time to complete a new certificate or course which will help you in the new job.

Even I am also looking for these answers if anyone can suggest
