Trending @Infosys; Early JL3 to JL4 promotion

I am performing way better than my senior colleague in the project, thus issues which are not resolved by my senior counterparts are assigned to me, also I do resolve them the majority of times, but still my salary is the same. If I am doing the work that my senior has to do is it possible to ask for an early JL3 to JL4 promotion? P.S: I haven't received any hikes either. Just my rating is outstanding. :(
