Is there any risk with filling out e-sep to get release from a project ?

Filling out e-separation doesn't ensure immediate release. Manager approval is key. It can affect your current project role and future opportunities. Proceed with caution and clear communication.

Its all in the manager/dm/hr hands(in some cases) mostly hr can't do anything if managers are not budging.. Just prepare to crack some interviews and put papers after u got offers. Don

Don't risk it. My frd put paper to get released from a support project. But her manager is not ready to release her . Her manager said to wait for 3 months afterwards she can release her. So, she went out of infosys. Now she is still looking for job..
I am not saying like you will be the same but know the risks there. In anycase prepare yourself to crack a interview and then put papers in case it didn't work out

E separation means putting down paper from infy not from project, and they have full authorities to assign u back on same project once you take it back and also as per usual process you will get release from current project on your last day or ome or two days before

Will I get rejected by Infosys if I don’t submit form 16? My salary was below taxable range so my previous employer didn’t provide me form 16, is it a mandatory document?
My first company didn’t request me to update my PAN card during the period from 2015 to 2018, so Form 16 is not available. However, I have submitted my experience letter, relieving letter, 3-month payslip, and EPF passbook.
I do have Form 16 from my second and third companies.
Please suggest, "I have resigned from my current company after serving a 90-day notice period, following the offer I received from Infosys. I am supposed to join next week, but I received an update two days ago regarding my background verification is in progress.
