I have initiated my separation and it's now in validation stage. Who needs to take action in this stage? What are the next steps for me? My manager is not replying to my pings.

Manager need to reply. And you don’t need managers consent as well. Hr will call you for validation. Then it will go to manager as first approved and DM as second approved. But irrespective of whether they approve or not it will get auto approved on last day. But if the manager is pissed if with you make sure you don’t agitate him/her further and don’t take any leave in notice period

You just need to chill. Now nothing needs to be done from your end. Also, you can wfh for 3 months.

I need clarification on WFH. Will they allow us to do WFH during the notice period? Or they will call us to the office just to take revenge...

One more thing, everyone is saying don't take leave in the notice period, why is that?

Nothing needs to be done from your end. Just enjoy your notice period. Even if they don't approve , it gets auto approved on or before LWD.

HR needs to take action now. Next, your manager will approve. If your manager isn't responding, escalate to HR or BPHR. Stay put and avoid taking leave.
