Hi All!
It's been close to a month since I raised my resignation through the e-separation portal. My manager is quite upset and hasn't approved it yet, and I don't expect any support from her. I also noticed that HR validation is the first step, but no HR is mapped to me. How important is HR validation for a smooth exit? Can the process move ahead without manager approval? Would appreciate any advice or similar experiences. Thanks!

Ignore HR... Those are useless basterds, they will reach you anyhow but will not respond on your request so don't entertain them at all. Your manager will approve it but very late.

Don't worry it will be approved.. They normally keep it open till the end... They cannot delay it. The idea is in case you want to take the papers back.. But if they all approve and later you rescind then it is a lot of hassle and paper work

Your HR will validate 1 month prior. Approver 1 and 2 on or before LWD.because you cant take back resignation once both approver approves.

I got it approved within a month

Recently i have taken an exit from the company. Don't worry brother Just chill. In my case my manager and HR validated in my last week of my 3 months notice period. You don't need to worry if they approve so that is also good and if they don't it gets auto approved on your LWD.

HR will approach you and then do validation. After that only it will go to manager's approval. Dont worry...generally HR people take their own time to do it.

Try to ping the senior manager to get it done and also you can check on the hr with same person as there should be one hr which is supposed to be present for whole unit. If not then you raise ahd for hr but other things can be checked at senior manager or dm level

HR will call you before 45 to 30 days prior to your last day and then manager will approve 15-20 days prior. They have to do it or it will get suto approved. No need to worry.

I believe it gets auto approved. No organisation can legally stop you from exiting provided you have served the notice period. Let them be.
