Dunzo Offer rescinded
I recently got an offer from Dunzo so I resigned from my current company and was serving my notice period. 3 weeks after resigning , Dunzo called and rescinded the offer.

Kya g***** log hai mc, nahi hai gotay to hiring kyun karte ho, playing with people's lives. People should en masse avoid them until they raise funds.
Also for safety @Coulson595 - ask existing company if you can be retained. You'll be stuck for 6 months minimum and thoda ijaat jayega, but papi pet et al. If they don't agree, get on the immediate joiner gravy train asap.

I don't want to be stuck in the current company for another 6 months. I am financially in an "okay" position . So I will take risk and start searching for another job.
Any Leads in data science analyst roles with 2.5 yoe would be appreciated.

Good on you, start scouring Linkedin and reach out to data / growth heads with a pager of how you'd contribute with some ideas. Will get things moving faster.

Altho this is bad, bigger companies have done it in past. Goes to show we’re indeed viewed as “resource” and not people in this journey. Would love if someone can compile a list of such companies and we also kind of blacklist them from our search

thats why multiple offers before resignation are recommended.

and then there would be a brigade who will say multiple offers are bad.blah blah blah.

Guess there are some things Dunzo can't really deliver

There is a thing in our country that when a company offers you a job and you accept that job through signature, then that offer letter becomes a legally binding document and is subject to rules and regulations under the law. Please look into this and contact a lawyer. These companies simply cannot play with our lives and be allowed to get away with it. Good luck ahead.

Isn't that an appointment letter 😐

That is quite messed up What reason did they mention for rescinding it?
I just read they are about to raise more capital

Location, resume, offer? Will try to refer for Pune cos I know

They should pay you first month salary.
