Going to Dubai for a trip, can you guys recommend things which are cheap in Dubai as compared to India. I'm mainly interested in electronics like cameras and drones. And also places from where should I buy in Dubai.
Electronics :
Meena Bazaar Dubai , Zam Zam mobile shop you can check out or other shops in that area.
Else you can check out Sharaf DG (not that cheaper)
Gold : Gold Souk Area, Anwar’s shop, it’s right opposite to JoyLukkas. 0% making charge for chains.
Apparels / Shoes : Outlet mall : for cheaper prices within same brand (cheaper than mall of the emirates), also has first copies (you can bargain)
Mall of the emirates : cheaper options than The Dubai mall
The Dubai mall : has everything but at higher price
Perfumes :
Ratan’s shop in Meena Bazar, you can get testers and originals in cheaper price for most brands (Chanel number 5 not present)
Remember to claim your VAT refund when coming back at the Dubai airport.
Also take out your electronics from their packaging else you might get stopped at customs.

If a single purchase is more than 250 AED you cam claim VAT refund. Don't forget to ask the billing counter to make a vat refund eligible invoice.
Drones and electronics. Drones are even more cheap in india.
If you do purchase drones then make sure you disassemble the unit as much as possible and distribute pieces between all your available luggage to avoid customs hassle.
