Hi All,
I recently received a mail stating that I have successfully completed the DSE Bridge Training (Wave 9). As per the communication:
My role will change to Digital Specialist Engineer (DSE) effective 1st Oct 2025.
The official role change letter will be released towards the end of Q3 FY’26 (around Dec 2025 – Jan 2026).
The mail mentioned that the effective date will remain 1st Oct 2025 even if the letter comes later.
I had a few doubts and wanted to check with others who have already gone through this:
When will the role change reflect in the system? (It mentioned 1st Oct, but as of now I haven’t seen any change in my designation.)
When exactly does the salary revision reflect in the payslip — from October itself or only after the letter release?
How was the in-hand salary difference after the role change?
Would really appreciate insights from anyone who has already experienced the Bridge → DSE transition. 🙌

For your case, the role effective date will be 1st Oct, but you'll receive the role change letter mostly in 1st or 2nd week of December. After that only you'll get to see the role change in system.

If currently you are a SSE then they'll keep your Job Level as 3 only, in case of TA to DSE it'll be job level 4.

The compensation will be 6.25 LPA and in hand salary will be Rs. 43869/-

The salary arrears of Oct and Nov will come with the December month's salary. (Only if you receive the role change letter before 15th Dec.)
Hi. Do you have any idea about DSS similarly?
I am currently going through bridge transition SSE to Acon
They mentioned that role change will be effective from 1st October but offer letter will be released in December
Till that time, salary will be the same as it is now
But in December or January, they will give arrears (increased salary - given salary) for October to that month.
Will my role/designation in the system change now (from October itself), or will it only reflect after the offer letter is released in December/January?
What is ur unit and are u on bench now? I cleared dse in same quarter as you and my old team sent me to bench as they got release mail for me...
Role Change in system, revised salary with arrears will be received only after the role change letters are out. Until then, your role and salary will be current role and salary only.
