Doubt with PE for the appraisal

Hi all, I have been released from project in October last year and later in December I joined another project, My current project manager said to initiate the PE for the particular month from December to March, I have a small doubt, Can I raise two PE's simultaneously that is one for the previous project and one for the present project of the financial year
