Doubt in anniversary appraisal

I joined in august 2022 , got appraisal in 2023 but not at the anniversary i got it after 2 months of first year anniversary, I have a doubt whether anniversary appraisal is only available at first year anniversary and not second year as I didn't get any appraisal till now. Can anyone clarify
