When these HRs will call you for 1:1 & ask to keep you mobile outside, none of these activities help you. Dont spend your hard earned money in office celebration contribution. Why decorate their office with your money? Spend it for yourself, your family, your friends.

Yes. Some projects & the managers are ultra shameless. In some cases, there is bay decoration competition is organised. HRs spend 2-3 days visiting each bay & evaluate the decoration. In best case scenario, winning team gets an useless certificate copy & email after spending rs. 500 from their pockets. All in the name of team building activities.
On Christmas they ask to participate in Secret santa...
