Pani puri and food stalls need their own effort but yea feels like they do earn more … i feel like its better to definitely have some other income like youtube channel if we have some time .. just need the talent to make good content 🥲🥲… coz this IT salary currently doesnt even come for saving at all

Absolutely 💯. IT is not providing the salary equivalent to the inflation rate of world in India.

A very pessimistic outlook. Whatever you do you should feel satisfaction about it. There would be people with same experience as you and would be earning more or less. If your goal is just money then find ways to increase it rather than comparing it with anyone else.

In the IT world, satisfaction often takes a back seat. We become like robots, tirelessly working to meet deadlines, fix bugs, and deploy code. Our reward? Lines of code and sleep-deprived eyes. What gives you satisfaction or just you consider that as satisfaction

@WealthyBan8 It's upto you to become a robot or not. I have spent 7 yrs in IT. And, I love what I do. Dude have a life outside of 9 to 5. Join sports or do something which can give you a balance. People don't know how to draw a line and think ghisna hi zindagi ka goal hai to bhai nahi hai. If you want to become a robot you can happily become one. But just so you know people can do a lot and be financially secure as well in IT. If you think what you do is making you robotic you should find a different profession.

I thought we will always be in the uncertainty like we could anytime get laid off or if company not get profitable we might be impacted.I think it's high time to think about something irrespective of the societal mindset of doing collored,AC Chamber , Cubicle Job

I have the habit of talking about the daily life of people from certain aspects, which includes the before mentioned one. One guy was telling me his schedule, father of 3 kids, he and his wife wake up at 4 sometimes even 3, get into the preparation of puri, as that's the one which takes the most time, meanwhile his wife boils the potatoes and preps other ingredients (in his case he used to add boiled spiced peas also), and after that, frying all those puris. In between that time only he had to drop his kids to school. He told me he used to rest from 11-1, like a short nap, and then prepared his stall from 2, to reach the spot by 4-4:30. He used to sell out by 9 and go home by 9:30. Count the hours he has to put in just to make that much, that too is seasonal, depending on certain aspects, availability. Every chore has its own demands, comparison between any two hailing from different horizons is being rather rude towards both. Again. Not being condescending here, just telling the other side's story☺️

Offcourse they do earn a lot with ease, but in longer run corporate gives better return but yes we have to put lot of efforts job switches to get there it's sad but it is what it's

They may or may not earn as much as us but I am pretty damn sure they won't spend on unnecessary things like us just to lead a fancy lifestyle, let's pick what we want and what we don't want in life then everything gets clear, like others already suggested there is more to this life than just money, take it from me I don't earn that much but it is enough for now as I am not obsessed with material life style. Anyways at the end of the day it is your own perspective around things so take it easy and choose what you need rather than what u want 😉.
