Why did people are having problem with hindi as language?? How BJP was imposing hindi .. i know i have missed something and i have been seeing in news so much was wondering what happened?? Any idea ?
See as I south indian, i feel I can take this up. See basically the problem is, that a good portion of us South Indians speak out own mother tongues( regional languages) at our homes. See, Hindi was made compulsory in the north post independence and in several states there the local language has lost it's prominence. We south Indians don't want that date for ourselves. Plus we don't understand Hindi, so why bring the language to our states? See, I'm all for learning a new language and I believe language is nothing more than a tool for communication. Honestly the jist of all this, is that the whole issue has just been used as a reason to stir up a controversy to get more eye balls and public attention
