Done with TCS!!
After giving 3.5 years at TCS, just frustrated by the lack of recognition and growth opportunities. The only promotion I received was after passing a technical exam, not through demonstrated performance. It's sad to be in a place that feels more like pressure than progress.
I requested a raise, the response was just list of additional requirements: extra certs, training sessions, and even a white paper – all on top of already exceeding the 15 hour days. I am finally on the edge it is time to resign or stand my ground
Being unemployed is preferable to feeling unseen and undervalued. I'm confident that my hard work and skills will translate into a better opportunity elsewhere.
Ironically, just last week I received an team award for the past year and a half of intense work on a project. While it acknowledges the effort, it doesn't erase the personal time I sacrificed.

Same story. Worked hard in project and concentrated on learning. Giving wings was not my cup of tea. Most of the time i was giving to project. Gave digitals with full hope but sadly everytime failed in some or other tracks. While working in project leads and seniors dont even know difference between simple web concepts. Talked to manager for a raise but he denied. From that day knew what should be next step. Prepared from that day and in 2 months resigned. Serving notice period already have a offer of 150 percent hike, where the other company offered me more than my expectations.
So keep calm, work hard, learn and switch.

While talking to senior like delivery manger and onsite coordinator i understood that delivery unit head level they are not concerned abt project delivery part so doesn’t matter if you are key resource to project , you will be treated like slave, all promotion , hike , compensations belongs to them . My delivery manager want to retain resources but delivery unit head doesn’t care and yes having said that you are always replaceable in TCS.
Completely agree didn’t received any gems in terms of appreciation in last two years I also competed 2 years now but didn’t received any hike
Yes, the same thing happened to me. No hikes in the name of the latest policy for the first year. And in the second year I got a B band with a 4% hike. The reason given by the manager is that I didn't work as a developer being a tester. I understood clearly that no recognixation and no hikes will be given here. So I resigned and joined another company soon.
Atleast you got the recognition by clearing technical exam.. in my scenario even after clearing the digital exam got 2 straight C bands as the project was migrating from TCS both times. After 3 years of hardwork I'm the one 3 years ago with depression and anxiety attacks.
True, though we work hard we are not valued . They want us to be jack of all trades ,hence they introduced T factor . 5 hours is gone for travelling, 9 hours of work .Just fooling myself at the end of the day for a low pay
