Doggy ji biscuits genuine or fake?
I love animals and I tend to feed street dogs on a daily basis. I strongly believe we shouldn't feed dogs parle g due to its ingredients, as we shouldn't feed dogs sugar.
But recently while scrolling through instagram I came across a brand Doggy Ji whose USP is affordable biscuits for dogs and their advertisement was also their price point comparison with parle g and ingredients.
It made me curious and I went to check their products but to my surprise their ingredient list was not at all convincing.
They add maida, oil, emulsifier etc just like parle g and in addition they have just mentioned chicken extracts and minerals.
The ingredient which shocked me was invert syrup which is basically glucose, and is harmful for dogs and is present in parle g as well.
This made me think about what kind of checks do products pass in India without verifying the claims or having some basic parameters for qualifying food safety for any living being because if this can happen so easily with such a small product, no wonder what we might be consuming from new brands as humans with improper standard checks.
I might be wrong but this is my perspective.
I would like more details and inputs or any corrections to my thoughts.
Let me know guys if this brand seems legit to you

Instead of strongly believing in Not feeding Parle-G to street dogs.
You should strongly believe in NOT feeding ANY STRAY animals.

May I know the reason?

I bought a pack of doggyji biscuits 3 months ago and I feed it to the dogs in my neighbourhood. I didn’t check the ingredients but felt like not all dogs are interested in the biscuits. I feel like their ingredients are animal-friendly as their USP is mainly dependent on animals.

Even I thought so but after checking the ingredient list, they are exactly like parle g just adding chicken extracts, minerals and vitamins. Maida, sugar these are harmful for dogs.

I chose the vegan biscuits and they mentioned that the biscuits doesn’t contain sugar or any animal extracts which I believe makes it a better choice than Parle-G.

stop feeding street dogs

I would like to know the reason behind this

Why do people fail to understand that a company can do limited things in a price sensitive market like India biscuits. If we need to feed the best, it’s not biscuits, feed chicken waste, dried meat sticks etc.

It's not about the ability to accomplish a great product with the cost barrier, it's about the false claims and comparisons.
Think as a consumer once, let's consider any product for humans, you're eating something to improve your health or you think something is good for you meanwhile it's causing the same negative impact on your health as the products you were using earlier, because of which you made the switch for example the paneer from markets which people were consuming for protein intake turns out many stores are selling fake paneer.
Similarly, this brand claim they're safer than parle g but they are not.
Spreading glitter in litter doesn't make it good.
Please read the post carefully.

This is an open world, everything can not be and will not be perfect. It’s is you, who has to take that responsibility and make right choices.
Brand has not told this is the most healthiest biscuits in the market. They have mentioned everything in the ingredients, you just need to read.

I wish stray dogs are banned so I can roam around like in any other civil country

Couldn't stop myself from thinking about what women in India would say. 😂
"I wish men were banned so I can roam around like in any other civil country"

Civil countries don’t get rid of stray dogs — they rescue, vaccinate, and shelter them. That’s what India should aim for: a system that protects both people and animals. And as an Indian citizen it's your duty as well.
Also, humans are very selfish. You don't see cows on the street because they give us milk, we only take care of them when we are at a benefit.
And even if people want to show love, they adopt good breeds not strays.
As humans if we are not responsible enough to take care of them.
One more thing, all animals act like this and there are many reasons and the main reason is feeling scared or provocative. Spread love not hate and they'll love you back.
People throw stones, hit them, torture them all for fun. But when we show love they're the most loyal ones.

Where did you find this?

I found this via Instagram but please read the whole post before purchasing. I don't find it right.
