After working for five years in wipro I have got an offer from.other company. Does wipro even try to retain employees who have worked for this long
It depends on their requirement. If you are a critical asset then only they’ll try to retain otherwise NO. I’m also on notice and they are trying to retain me just because they want some resource to handle their project once they found your backup then your value will be nothing
My suggestion go with hike % if you are getting more than 35% leave it. Even they offer you 40 % if they found replacements with cheap rate then manager remove from project. Then you are seaching for new job again

Depends on your offer and manager. I got 90% hike and my manager and HR didn’t even think of retaining me. They will try to retain you if you have offer of 30 or 40% hikes
What is the opinion of your manager? If manager doesn't want you, wipro can release you
