Does time in office affect WFO index

Hi All, I just joined back from maternity leave and am currently awaiting project allocation. Since I am on bench I have been asked to report to the location RMG between 11.30 Am to 1 PM or between 2.30 PM to 5 PM. I do not have a seat here in the base location. So my doubt is if I just go swipe for a shorter duration will it affect my WFO index. Would it be considered a compliance issue.

No. You can swipe in and be there for 5 mins and leave. It will be counted.

Attend morning slot as it is just 1 hr 30 min.

They are sending emails to associates whoes office attendence is low. They are sending email who are not spending sufficient time in office for long time. Current inputs is associates need to spend at least 3+ hours in office.

Is this mandatory to report base location? Can visit nearby location?

Both are different compliances.
Attendance requirement is for 85% which is approximately 19 working days in a month. This decided your wfo iindex. Corporate governed it, and it will directly impact your salary if less than 85%. Project team did not have role in it, except providing exception of stool allowed in system by project supervisor and HR.

Another compliance for working hours is not affecting WFO iindex. Once you are there for 85% days in office, then check the other compliance of working hours. officially it is as per working policy of 9 hrs. However based on Other factors like RMG tagged, no odc, particular project relaxation, they may send you mail based on any of the criteria less than 3 hrs, or less than 4.5 hours or less than 6 hrs. Project has atleast little say in it. This does not affect the WFO index, however can require discussion with HR and Supervisor for not following it.
