Does this count as a flex?

I am 23F and I invest around 10k monthly in SIPs and I’ve invested around 4 lakhs in gold so far. I stay grounded and don’t have many expenses. I also send money to parents, even though they don’t ask, just as savings POV.

More than a flex, this shows maturity. Good to see young people prioritizing savings.

I hope you are taking inflation into account as well! 1cr in 2033 won’t be worth as much as it is today 🙏🏻

From a lower class family who didn't have a father from his childhood. Studied in tier 3 college. Paid his education debts, paying his siblings college fees, invested 1 lakh in gold. Bought the first bike in his entire family. Doing masters in a reputed university. Sending expenses to my mom. Can I flex as well?. Wish me luck guys 🤞

You got the biggest flex bro. Money comes, money goes. But that's something only people with real money would know.

Buying gold bars is good but ornaments I don't think so unless wearing due to emotional feelings to wear

Reconsider sending to parents if

  1. They don't need the money
  2. They are not better than you in investing and finances.

I don't give parents money unless they ask as they anyway have a bad track record of investing in instruments worse than FD.
