Does TCS retain people after resignation? I don't have hope but just wanted to know how long they take for confirmation.
Don't ever do that blunder, even if they retain you, after that they will put you in the Vulnerable list (associate who can leave anytime)and will find your alternative asap, once they find they will remove your allocation and may terminate you. Additionally, lower bands are given and no promotion to the retained associates to compensate for the additional package given while retaining.

Can you mention your grade also..will retention policy vary with grade?
They will come 2-3 weekend before your LWD.. Sometimes in last week as well .
I am sure they might be coming at the last moment because they don’t want the employee to use the retention offer to get more money from the other company and also to sort of rush employee into possibly accepting the retention offer because the last working day is very near kind of like a confusing tactic.
How will they retain orally or will share a draft compensation letter?
