Yes, they do provided you should be important person in project having dependency.. You should be good with your project managers.. They are the ones who would be recommending HR for salary correction.. You should reach out to your managers and HR simultaneously in this regards.. HR will take feedback from project regarding importance of the person in the project and likely impact if he or she leaves
