Does TCS Award Performance Bands to Employees on Notice Period?

I've heard that TCS might not allocate performance bands to employees who are currently serving their notice period, even if they've already received their annual ratings and the review process was completed before they submitted their notice. Is this true, and if so, what impact does it have on their career and benefits?

Once in NP period, you will not get anything-Band, bonus, etc.

other way round, if they give band then it will be lower band (as you are leaving) and someone staying back with get a higher band at your expense. Ot should be allowed, and as a leaving candidate you also should not allow it.

True. I resigned 2 days before the appraisal results were published when I was in TCS. I was shocked to find that out that I was given C band. I covered onsite shift (morning 5am without allowance) for the last one year back then from offshore. On discussing with my support lead, I came to know that it’s not my performance rather delivery manager’s ego was hurt when I told that him that I would stay back if they match my salary to that of the offer I received. I rejected it as won’t be of any worth. Also, other companies mostly won’t revise the offer based on the changes. Ideally, a discussion should been scheduled between HR, DM and me . But the status remained pending till my last working day. Interestingly, delivery manager-has the authorisation for the last minute changes in agreement with the HR. DM & HR (along with RMG) were always on the same page but excellent actors in their own accord whenever they talk to us.

Nothing it will impact on career if you are leaving tcs anyway. If you are staying then I don't think they can change it in between if it is already finished and submitted.
