Does tcs allow me to work from a different location?
My dad has a serious illness (stage 3 cancer) and i had gotten permission to work from homr location for around 3 months. However now it has been 6 months. I havent completed 2 years yet and so cannot get an official transfer. Will this cause me issues? My team seems finr with it but with recent changes can there be problems from above?
No worry dude, you can work. For your context I know people who are not going to office since last 1 year and when he asked for reason she stated medical issues and gave documents, nothing happened.

You can ask for WFH, if your supervisor agrees then no issue.
For transfer first discuss with your manager if he is fine then just raise a transfer request. Just take approval on mail and attach it with the transfer ticket. No need to discuss with anyone.
Yes but transfer request are not that easy but ur case is unique and they can do it ( but again if they want to they will else they won’t in tcs)
Exception transfer is approved for serious parents illness. You need to discuss with rmg and show medical docs, they will approve your transfer.
In the current situation do not get deallocated from the project
Raise transfer in system and discuss with HR and your manager
Inform your supervisor and get exceptional raised and approved
As long as your manager and HR is aware of it don’t worry about it. Mainly manager and u have wfh approved don’t worry about it
