Does taking leaves during the notice period extend the LWD?

I am new to this corporate and currently serving my notice period. I had requested an early release as it's impossible for me to work because of personal issues. I was denied the early release by my HR and director on the grounds on business loss and stuff. Now when I am not available, I inform my manager that I will not be available. Now he is asking to my apply for leaves. So my doubt is, if I apply the leaves, will it extend my LWD?
