To clarify on neural patterns : I am talking about each and every activity that your brain does, is all managed by the brain. You got a sneeze, all the mucus and the process that builds up a sneeze, all the data is relayed to the brain via neurons in organs. And the brain tells you to sneeze. Similarly every small detail in your body is governed by the brain.
So does studying these patterns on how the brain has a reaction for every trigger, help us make habits more efficiently, without going through much pain.

Just studying neural patterns and discovering them for yourself can make you feel miserable! What might help is finding activities/excuses that motivate you to overcome bad habits or develop new progressives ones.
