Does LeetCoders Give you FOMO

I was recently scrolling through linkedin as a regular day to find my daily dose of depression

And Suddenly I saw a profile of x Person who started his engineering in July 2023 has 500+ LC Problems solved a CI/CD pipeline set up project and What not

I was so shocked to see at what level the competition has raised a first year guy who has just entered the stream has started all this I am a graduate and barely knew all this back then

This X person has 4 starts in CodeChef and Some ratings in CF

If this person and I are competing for the same job I felt I will be trashed to bins

And I see the Leetcode guys 500 Solved Rating this that just in 1st and 2nd year of college

I was terrified and impressed at the same time

Are these next generation too impulsive to over skill them for a job ?

What are your thoughts?

All it takes is 2 weeks

If you want to solve a decent amount of LC just form the habit of solving one problem a day for 14 days

If problem solving is your passion then you’ll eventually get used to it. It applies to any skill. DSA is probably the easiest to work on because the large task can be broken up into small units very easily.

Don’t aim for numbers.

Just one problem a day.

I saw this guy who hasn't yet graduated that has packed his resume with leetcode stats. Good for him, i gues. Back when I was in college 10 years ago leetcode wasn't even a thing.
