Does it make sense to work for a (not very confident) solo founder for 1.4 lacs a month on a dating/relationship mobile app.

I'm a 3-4 YOE frontend engineer, left my job in October. I'm pretty good at what I do. I'm looking to expand myself towards backend skills to work as a full-stack/software engineer.

So I've helped this person in the building of his apps in the past, but now wants to do it long term and seems like he really doesn't have any idea. He wants me to not apply anywhere, give up my projects and postpone my learning. I know it kind of already sounds off, but I'd still appreciate some opinions.
