Trending @Infosys; Does infosys retain its laid off employees after cooling period or do they not retain its past employees?

Laid off , I am assuming you mean involuntary separation or forced voluntary separation. In both cases infosys doors are closed for good

Forced voluntary sepration even when I had got a project but I was kept on bench by tpd n reporting managers for 1.3 years .later I had got a project I was on project training but still they forced me to resign n told that we r separating u n all that

They just told me 6 months cooling off period is it like that or can I apply immediately to the openings

I get wanting to keep doors open when you leave of your own volition. But there’s really no point in trying to consider the outcome of this scenario, be it hypothetical or not.
We can only be worried about limited things in life. Please don’t choose this to be one of them. Don’t try to plan (if this is for you, or for someone close to you) to come back to a company which will lay anyone off while still being comfortably profitable. Yes, all companies do this now. But you actually saw this happening first hand here.

When you first left Infosys, in the employee separation portal your Manager gets a option whether to consider hiring the employee in future if they want to return to Infosys. If the Manager recommends no then it's very difficult to be hired back at Infosys
