Does expertise in one tech stack help?

I have 3.5 years of experience in a particular tech stack. Finding great teams that work on tech stack are limited and are based in EU and USA. My resume gets rejected even before looking at my credentials as told by a recruiter.

Do companies look for experienced folks to join them even if the experience is in some other tech stack? If they do, I have a pool of a lot of companies to apply to.

Experience with a particular tech stack is irrelevant for faang and most tier 1 companies.

Tech stack is very volatile. It is obviously good to be experienced in one. But you have to be open to changing stacks.

I recently changed my job and the new company uses a completely different stack. But they interviewed with my past experience and hired. I learnt the new stack after joining. PS- Make sure you create their expectations straight and get time to learn the new stack, if required
